Canggu is one of the most popular places to stay in Bali and I can definitely see why. It does offer everything from being a surfers paradise, amazing restaurants, boutiques, co-working spaces, yoga studios and some great nightlife. A lot of digital nomads also live in this area because it really does over a lot of conveniences. But if you are coming here for the first time, there are a lot of things you should consider and also understand what the general prices are like so you don't risk getting ripped off. Today we're exploring all sorts of food, new and old cafes and restaurants, checking out Pererenan beach and so much more. First up is a Canggu shortcut to Pererenan, an up and coming area, to head to an awesome cafe called Baked for some incredible food and coffee. Just down the road we spot a wild cow and explore Pererenan beach - still, very much Bali beaches that will improve massively once we reach the Gili Islands. Any day in Bali is a good day to eat food at a warung! We've been tasting our way around quite a few and asked some locals for the best warung in Canggu and todays recommendation is our favourite. Warung Sika is legit tasty! Sure there's lots of good up market restaurants in Canggu, but nothing beats a classic warung mie goreng. Everyone knows about Bintang beer in Bali, but did you know there is a full brewery in Canggu? Black Sand Brewery is a new spot we had to check out, kind of surprisingly the beers were amazing! Proper hop forward, fruity, delicious brews and lots of selection Last up was Luigis pizza restaurant, it's been on Stace's hit list for years and we finally got to check it out. There were some super smooth peaks at the Sandbar in Canggu early on the 16th of March.
